WE WENT TO LOUNGE ON THE FARM

We trotted off to Lounge on the Farm last weekend.

The event, hosted on a farm somewhere in Kent, is a cosy little affair, full of excited teenagers limbering up for Example’s inevitable ‘PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR KENT!’ and some nice ol’ crusties enjoying a plethora of wonderful performances from the likes of Echo And The Bunnymen and Prince Graham Coxon.

Whilst we were there, we decided to point our camera in the faces of a select few performers.

A few facts you might want to know about the interviews before you watch are:

1) Jamie Woon had his socks on inside out.
2) Ben and I had been travelling for 5 hours prior to the interviews and had spent a large amount of time not talking to each other due to TS (travel stress). Once we arrived on site we were thrust into situations involving purely speech. It was a shock to the system but also an interesting example of ‘life contrast’. 
3) Big Deal greet with simple hand-shakes.
4) The original chair KC from Big Deal sat in shattered into pieces before the interview due to it being ‘broken’.
5) Ben and I went inside a vintage clothes stall after our interviews and stood in there for 2-minutes before leaving. No clothes were touched or looked at. It was just good to have a bit of time out in a dark place after the intensity of our interviews.
5) We bumped into Fred from Spector 10-minutes before the interview was scheduled. In a shock editorial decision we decided to bring the interview forward 10 minutes. Looking back, we still feel this was the right choice.

7) Wait, one more. Here’s a picture of a man in a rain mac. From the same stall I bought a packet of Tangfastics and a bottle of 7Up. It was fair to say I was flying high moments after this image was captured.
