Red Stripe Music Award 2010: Kentish Town

Storming into its fourth year, the Red Stripe Music Award 2010, supported by Last FM, is hitting the streets of London again with a Kentish Town showcase confirmed at The Flowerpot on March 11th.

Hundreds of bands have entered already for 2010 with the line-up below now finalized. Doors will be at 7.00pm and free entry for all.

Line-Up:

Crowns 

This inde/folk/rock four-piece promise an enthusiastic performance with Bill Jefferson on guitar and vocals, Jack Speckleton on guitar and mandolin, Peter Brandstetter on bass and Nathan Haynes on drums
and vocals.

This Life Scandel 

This four-piece promise all consuming tunes with towering, epic melodies after forming in a London studio in 2008 and honing  their enticing and formidable wall of sound.

Dan Cook 

Daniel Cook is a London-based multi instrumentalist, singer – song writer and all instruments are played and recorded in his garden shed.

Gigs this year will take place around the country from January to April, across 30 of the country’s best live music venues – with even more partners and music industry muscle on board for 2010. Bands and artists are invited to enter details via www.redstripe.netand if selected will play for the chance to win spots at some of the UK’s best loved festivals, including The Great Escape.
