Known for its ‘progressive liberalism’ and home to the ‘Happy Valley’, Amherst, Massachusetts sounds like a great place to be. We’re not sure how liberal or happy locals California X are, but this drawn out 90s growl of is full of the violent thrash of several hundred backwards-capped circle-pitters. It is noisily obvious that these kids know their Wipers from their Sonic Youths – brave, confident and best listened to as loud as you can take it, ‘Sucker’ is like, totally awesome.
