ISLE OF WIGHT PLIGHT
Six people have been charged with ‘conspiracy to defraud’ over allegations that they have sold fake tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival for the past six years.
The six people from Southend-On-Sea, West London and the Isle of Wight have apparently been selling fake tickets and wristbands since the festivals revival in 2002.
They were taken into custody after counterfeit tickets were discovered throughout the event but have been bailed. The troublesome six will appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court tomorrow (March 18th).
Kaiser Chiefs, The Police and the Sex Pistols will headline the sold out event.
