Mercury Prize Nominations Revealed

The nominees for the 2011 Barclay’s Mercury Music Prize have been announced this morning (19th July).

Fly cover stars Everything Everything and Metronomy will battle it out with Tinie Tempah, Katy B, James Blake, Adele, Elbow, PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins and Gwilym Simcock for the prestigious industry prize.

Last year’s prize winner was The xx, this year’s ceremony will take place on 6th September.
