RACONTEURS ALBUM OUT NEXT WEEK

The Raconteurs have rush released their second album, revealing it will be out in one week.

Entitled ‘Consolers Of The Lonely’, the follow up to 2006’s ‘Broken Boy Soldiers’ will be available on full length vinyl, CD and digital formats on Tuesday, March 25th.

Not only this but you will be able to buy it from practically everywhere – Indie retailers, corporate superstores, supermarkets, iTunes, Amazon, the bands own website and any other location that they could get the record up and going as fast as possible.

The 14 new recordings were mastered and completed in the first week of March and the band have done no interviews or advertisements…because:

“We wanted to get this record to fans, the press, radio, etc., all at the exact same time so that no one has an upper hand on anyone else regarding its availability, reception or perception”, the band mention on their website.

“The Raconteurs feel very strongly that music has worth and should be treated as such,” they said.

There will also be a video up on the internet for the first single, ‘Salute Your Solution’, March 25th.
