Man Mistaken For PJ Harvey

A software developer and self confessed nerd was innudated with messages of congratulations via twitter after the Mercury Prize winner, PJ Harvey, was announced. 

Phil Harvey, who owns the twitter account @PJHarvey had over 2,000 messages via the service in one evening as people mistook him for the winner. ”I’m a trending topic. I’ve just switched my phone off”, he tweeted shortly after. Mr Havey was given a taster of the lifestyle his namesake may have to endue however, when he was innundated with interview requests. “Crikey. I had enough bother when she went on Jools Holland with a silly hat on”, he tweeted later. 

Harvey was interviewed by Irish radio stations, and the BBC, before saying “I have a new found respect for anyone in the public eye. I did three interviews and was ready for a lie down! Not for me”, via twitter. As yet Phil Harvey has not announced any plans to release a concept album.
