The Black Keys Unveil New Album

11 Oct 2011

The Black Keys have announced they will release their new album ‘El Camino’ via a spoof car advert.

The band have set up website WannaBuyAVan, which then has a link to a short video featuring US comedy actor and ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Bob Odenkirk ‘attempting’ to film an advert to sell a used El Camino car. As the advert concludes the words ‘Black Keys. El Camino. December 6’ appear on screen. The album will be released on 5th December in the UK.

There has been no confirmed tracklisting as of yet, but track titles will include ‘Little Black Submarine’ and ‘Lonely Boy’. The band have stated The Clash and The Cramps as major influences behind the record.

The tracklisting for the album is as follows:

‘Lonely Boy’
‘Dead and Gone’
‘Gold on the Ceiling’
‘Little Black Submarines’
‘Money Maker’
‘Run Right Back’
‘Sister’
‘Hell of a Season’
‘Stop Stop’
‘Nova Baby’
‘Mind Eraser’

The Black Keys will tour the UK next year, with proceedings starting 3rd February at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena.
