A NIGHT WITH PETE DOHERTY
Former Libertine frontman Pete Doherty hosted the first of two solo shows last night (Apr 11). Entitled – ‘An Evening with Pete Doherty’, the evening kicked off at 7.30 sharp, at London’s Hackney Empire where Doherty was joined by Lethal Bizzle, Adam Wass and ex-Pentangle legend Bert Jansch.
The unusually punctual Pete was then joined onstage by fiancée Kate Moss, who performed vocals for the Babyshambles track ‘Belle Et La Bete’ and Libertines’ ‘Time for Heroes’.
After closing the evening with his old band’s classic track, Doherty told the crowd “Thanks for your support in these troubled times”.
Presumably Pete is, like the rest of us, consumed with worry about the upcoming French elections. Innit.
