MY VITRIOL TO HEADLINE DOWNLOAD

London rockers My Vitriol are to return to the festival circuit for the first time in 5 years.

The band have confirmed they will be amongst the 9 acts to headline the Third Stage at this year’s Download Festival.

My Vitriol’s last festival appearance came at the Kerrang! Festival back in 2002, when frontman Som Wardner announced that the band would be taking an indefinite hiatus.

The band release a new single ‘War of the Worlds’ on June 11th, with their second album to follow soon after.

The band posted the following message via their mailing list:

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, but it was an opportunity we could not refuse. It feels great to be back at the festivals this year, which would not have happened if our return shows didn’t do so well…..so thanks for all your support over the years, guys. You are the best fans in the world! See you at DOWNLOAD!”
