Filmmaker Lands Arcade Fire?

13 May 2008

Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly has allegedly bagged Arcade Fire to provide the score for his brand new flick ‘The Box’.

Speaking to Pitchfork.com, director Richard Kelly didn’t give away much but hinted that the Canadian superstars could be making the soundtrack to the film that stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden. “We’re starting to work with a very famous band who is honouring us with being the first filmmakers they’ve ever scored a film with” the website reports.

However, Coldplay and Björk producer and engineer Markus Dravs has advertised on his website that “…. having finished Coldplay’s forthcoming album VivaLaVida – now off to

Canada
to work with Arcade Fire on a Sound-track for the forth coming Richard Kelly film…..”

‘The Box’ is being edited at the moment.
