FRANZ PLAY AT HOME

Scottish musos Franz Ferdinand played their first gig of 2007 in Glasgow last night. The art-rockers staged the first of two homecoming gigs, with the second set for tonight (6 June), in front of 700 fans at the Grand Ole Oprey Country & Western Club.

According to NME.com the band unveiled five brand new songs at the event, which are expected to feature on the follow-up to 2005′s ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’.
