NO THREADS NO CRED – DITTO

The Gossip’s vocalist Beth Ditto has appealed to Topshop bigwigs to have her own clothing range in response to the chain store requesting for the band to play live.

Ditto insists that The Gossip will not perform until she gets her own clothing line, despite being invited. “They don’t want to dress people who look like me, a normal body, a bigger body, whatever. I don’t really know why they want The Gossip to do things for them, because if they saw me in the street they’d never give me the time of day”

When invited to perform, Ditto protested: “I don’t think it’s fair to put my face somewhere where they would never let me in there to wear their clothes. If they want our music they’ve got to actually do something to earn it. I want the respect Kate Moss gets.”

Soon enough everyone will be able to ditto Beth Ditto.
