Big Chill Acts Announced

Basement Jaxx, Friendly Fires, Norman Jay, and Orbital are the first few acts to be added to the Big Chill 2009 line up.

Other names confirmed for the event are Calexico, Horse Meat Disco, Pharaoh Sanders and Ludovico Einaudil. As well as the host of eclectic and fresh new talent, these first few acts stand alongside seminal dance act Orbital who recently reformed at the request of the festival, “It’s not an exercise in nostalgia at all, the time just seems right..They came to us with the offer and everything just seemed to fall into place,” Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll commented.
