KAISER CHIEFS TO RELEASE 3RD ALBUM

The Kaiser Chiefs have announced that they will release an album of new material, promptly following this month’s success of ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’.

The band recorded other songs at the time of putting together their latest album, enough to form another release due for April.

Simon Rix (bassist) reveals: “When we recorded ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’, we recorded more songs for a third album. It’s done and we’d like to release it in April. It will be a fans-only album and we’ll probably release it on our own label.”

“It can get frustrating waiting between releases. We wrote ‘Employment’ and then we didn’t record for another two years. We’d prefer to start writing our next (major) album soon.”
