The Maccabees Work With Super Producer

The Maccabees have revealed that they are working with super producer Markus Dravs on their second album.

The Arcade Fire and Coldplay producer has been working on the band’s second album in
London and

Paris and according to The Maccabees’ Felix White, Dravs has stopped “a lot of stupid second record ideas”.

“In comparison to the first one, where we just put it down live and it was as it is, we had grander ambitions” White told BBC 6Music.

“He definitely helped us realise those. I think more than anything, he just loved the songs and we wanted to do a record with someone who really loved it and was going to be proud of what he did.”

The follow up to ‘Colour It In’, is scheduled for release in March.
