Jack White Forms Supergroup

12 Mar 2009

The White Stripes’ Jack White has created a supergroup named The Dead Weather.

Comprising of The Kills’ Alison Mosshart, The Raconteurs’ Jack Lawrence and Queens Of The Stone Age’s Dean Fertita, The Dead Weather are set to release the album, ‘Horehound’, in June. The album was produced by White and will feature the first single ‘Hang You From The Heavens’ and a cover of the Gary Numan song ‘Are Friends Electric?’

The Dead Weather showcased their material at Jack White’s label Third Man Records in Nashville last night (March 11th) in front of a crowd of 150 people.

Remember when life was simple and Jack White was just in the one band, eh?
