Simon Pegg To Direct Coldplay Video?

Star Wars star Simon Pegg has revealed that he would like to direct a music video for Coldplay.

The actor, who is a close friend of frontman Chris Martin, explained how he’d already began thinking about taking his career down a different route, “I’d love to direct some day. Doing a music video would be a great start,” Pegg told GQ.

“I’ve said to Chris a couple of times, if we get some time, I’d love to script a song.”

Simon Pegg also spoke about his impromptu harmonica performance for Coldplay in December, “I’ll never forget the epiphany of walking out on stage and realising what it is to be in a band – ‘Why don’t I do this for a living? This is great!”
