IN A PIKUL

Smashing shoegazers Silversun Pickups are to re-release their debut EP on 26th November.

The ‘Pikul’ EP first appeared in 2004, earning the band a big fat buzz in their native Los Angeles and generally making them the trendiest new band to adore in California.

Their brilliant debut album ‘Carnavas’ and barnstorming show at Latitude were two of The Fly’s finest moments of 2007, alongside the time we sprayed shaving foam on the Editor’s head. But that was fun for different reasons.

Anyway, the band are currently touring in Europe with the Kaiser Chiefs before heading back to the USA.
