BAND OF HORSES PAIR UP WITH ROLLING STONE?

07 Dec 2007

The word on the street is that Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood has fallen head over heels for Seattle epic-rockers Band of Horses.

The American trio were recording for Jools Holland’s show last Tuesday, and knowing that Wood was also on the bill, covered his track ‘Act Together’ from his 1974 debut ‘I’ve Got My Own Record To Make’.

Crap name for an album that.

Anyway, Ronnie introduced himself to the band and after listening back to the cover appears to be quite smitten, even telephoning keyboardist Ryan Monroe later this week and expressing a desire to play the track with them in future.

Plans to play together are being put into motion…. So watch this space!

Band of Horses play London’s Koko on the 26th Feb…
