ALBERT SPEAKS OUT

Guitarist for The Strokes Albert Hammond Jr has dispelled rumours that there are ructions in the band – but they still have no solid ideas about their new album.

Could it be because the curly haired solo artist is too busy working on his own material? He told Pitchfork media, “We definitely talk about things,” which is fairly assuring I suppose.

On the subject of a new record he mentioned, “It wouldn’t be my place; it would be our place as a group. So, I’ve gotta leave that as ‘everything’s great.’ I just have no idea when we’re going to do anything.”
