Bloom Festival Cancelled

This year’s Bloom Festival at Chepstow Racecourse has been cancelled.

Due to “difficult economic conditions”, 2009’s event, which was set to play host to the likes of Noah And The Whale, Esser, Fanfarlo, Filthy Dukes, Frankmusik and Post War Years will not take place. “It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, as Bloom is an independently run organisation, built from our very heart and souls”, says festival organiser Olivia Chapman. “We have worked tirelessly for the best part of nine months on this event which makes it very hard for us to walk away from it. However we have to think of the bigger picture and feel that we are making the right decision”.

Competition ticket holders will be given the option to purchase an ‘upgrade ticket’ to either Beachdown Festival or the Big Chill Festival, as well as their ticket to Bloom 2010.
