Radiohead Drummer Records Solo Album

Radiohead drummer Phil Selway is in the studio recording his debut solo album, Radiohead‘s PR has confirmed. Selway had been reported to be entering the studio to begin recording after he took the limelight at last month’s 7 Worlds Collide show at London Dingwalls. As part of the show, in support of the charity album put together by Neil Finn, Selway sung lead vocals on two songs.

Selway has reportedly enlisted members of Wilco to play on the solo album. In other Radiohead news, Thom Yorke will release two new tracks, ‘FeelingPulledApartByHorses’ and ‘The Hollow Earth’, on Radiohead’s merch store on September 21st.
