Hatcham Social Announce Halloween Gig

Hatcham Social will play a special Halloween show at 229 Great Portland Street in London on October 28th to coincide with the release of their new single.

The Halloween Prom will see the London four piece joined by Electricity In Our Homes, Official Secrets Act, Sunderbans, and The Banshee. There will also be a free fanzine with two unreleased Hatcham Social downloads – ‘People Are Strange’ and ‘Sidewalk’ (remix) – for the first 100 people through the door on the night.

The band’s new single, ‘Sidewalk’, is taken from their debut album ‘You Dig The Tunnel, I’ll Hide The Soil’ and is released on October 28th on limited 10” vinyl and download. It will feature four previously unreleased tracks – :’Wild Creatures’, ‘HTE’ (version produced by Baxter Dury), ‘King Kong’ and a cover of the Beach Boys ‘Surfin’ Safari’ – with the download copies of the EP featuring a remix of ‘Sidewalk’ by Tom Furse of The Horrors.

Hatcham Social are giving fans and friends the opportunity to create an individual piece of cover artwork. So far there have been submissions from Good Shoes, The Horrors, The Maccabees and The Charlatans alongside designs from the fans of the band.
