BACK TO BLACK

“I won’t bother you here with what the damn concept is, but let’s just say the theme revolves around a lot of NASTY sex, NASTIER death, and beautifully strange birth”, were the words that passed from who else but Frank Black’s gaping orifice, as he spoke about his new mini-album.

Under the guise of Black Francis his 20 minute ‘SVN FNGRS’ album took six days to record and will be released through Cooking Vinyl on March 3.

Produced by his drummer Jason Carter, Black explained to Gigwise: “The production is sparse in terms of the band, which, by the way, seems to be a kind of ‘Black Francis’ thing that has been developing ever since.”
