Hot Chip’s New LP Gets Special Vinyl Version

Hot Chip have announced details of a special limited edition vinyl version of ‘One Life Stand’. The limited edition version of the album, which saw Hot Chip’s long-term designer Wallzo work with London-based artists The Vinyl Factory, will be released on February 1st and is available to pre-order now.

Limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies worldwide, the special edition ‘One Life Stand’ includes two super-heavyweight vinyl records containing the ten tracks comprising ‘One Life Stand’ and will also feature an exclusive Hot Chip art print of the ‘One Life Stand’ cover artwork. The package also contains an as-yet-unrevealed extra surprise. Could be a member of the band themselves. Or a severed head. Who knows?
