FESTIVAL ROUND UP

Three of the biggest festivals in the UK are causing a stir by trickling out more information on their events.

Reading and Leeds spokesperson Melvin Benn hinted to BBC 6 Music who may be headlining at this years festival, insinuating it could be three American acts – but of course the names won’t be revealed just yet.

In V Festival news, a ‘reliable industry source’ has been speaking about how Muse and The Verve are some names that are being thrown about for potential headliners. If this is the case they will join Kaiser Chiefs and The Prodigy at the end of August.

Last but not least, the mother of all festivals, Glastonbury, have extended the ticket registration period so that even more people can sign up. Instead of registration being open from 9am on February 1 until February 29, the closing date will now be until midnight on March 14.
