THE ZUTONS NEW MATERIAL

The Zutons have spoken out from the confines of the Sunset Sound Studios in LA where they have been recording their third album.

Due for release in the spring, the band have announced that they will appear at this years Isle of Wight Festival in June.

Lead singer and guitarist Dave McCabe wrote on their website: “At first I was a bit scared at the thought of going to LA to make this album because we’ve never been away to record before. Since we’ve got here it’s been sound though, we’ve been buzzing off the Americans, it’s taken our heads to a different place and it’s brought us closer together.

“Sometimes you have to go a million miles away or get on a plane for ten hours to get closer together. George (the producer) is funny as fuck, he’s like a walking jukebox and he’s getting a good vibe in the room. It definitely feels different with an American producer than what we’re used to and I think that’s a good thing for us now.”
