The National Reveal Fifth Album Details

The National have announced the first details about their new album.

‘High Violet’, the band’s fifth LP, will be released on the May 10th and is the follow-up to 2007’s acclaimed ‘Boxer’.

This will also be the first album by The National to be released on 4AD after their previous home, the 4AD parent label Beggars Banquet, became a catalogue-only label.

The National are also playing a sole UK date at the Royal Festival Hall, London just days before the release of ‘High Violet’ on May 6th.
