Smashing Pumpkins Looking For New Members

Smashing Pumpkins are to audition for more band members.

Last year Billy Corgan, band leader and the only original member left, managed to find current drummer Mike Byrne through the auditions and has said that he was so encouraged by the results he is going to hold more open auditions for a new keyboardist and bassist.

“We are lucky enough to find drummer Mike Byrne through an open audition process so why not open the doors again to anyone who might be interested for the bass or keyboard position,” he said.

“As you can see from our past and present, age, race or a person’s background is not an issue. Everyone is truly welcome to audition.”

Budding bassists or keyboardists can send information including their age and a CV of any past recorded work (either solo or band) to pumpkinsbass@gmail.com or pumpkinskeys@gmail.com. It is also requested that only musicians with video clips of their work will be considered.
