The Futureheads Release Christmas Single

The Futureheads release their new single, ‘Christmas Was Better In The 80s’ on December 19th through Nul Records, as part of their 10th birthday celebrations.

The act are currently wrapping up a European tour that will culminate in a string of UK dates with Biffy Clyro as well as headlining their own Futurefest 2 on December 23rd at Newcastle Academy. The line-up of Futurefest 2 will feature a handpicked selection of the best bands of the Northeast to help The Futureheads celebrate 10 years since their first gig, back in December 2000.

To celebrate their 10th birthday The Futureheads have also collaborated with iconic artists including David Shrigley and Stuart Semple to create a series of limited edition prints, raising money for Newcastle based charities. For the ‘FH10’ project the band sent each one of the artists an album, and asked them to respond to its music as if creating the album cover for the first ever time.
