Arctic Monkeys Announce Sheffield Summer Shows

Arctic Monkeys have revealed plans to play two huge hometown gigs this summer.

The band will play in a custom designed tent at
Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl on 10th and 11th June.

Miles Kane, who previously collaborated with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner in The Last Shadow Puppets, will provide support on both days. The Vaccines and Dead Sons complete the bill on 10th, whilst Anna Calvi and Mabel Love play on 11th.

Ahead of the announcement the band said, “We’re really looking forward to playing
Sheffield with our special guests.  It’s great doing our own event and it’s going to be a wonderful couple of days in our hometown.”

The band are currently completing work on their fourth album in Los Angeles.

Tickets are on sale from this Friday (11th) at 9am.
