The Stone Roses “To Reunite”
The Stone Roses are set to reunite, according to a newspaper report.
The Sun reported that singer Ian Brown and guitarist John Squire have “buried the hatchet,” and are ready to reunite.
The paper reported that the pair reconciled their differences at the recent funeral of bandmate Mani’s mother.
A source is quoted as saying: “It was an emotional reunion. There were no harsh words. It was a heartwarming breaking of bread. They had a lot to catch up on and have been in regular contact since.”
The Stone Roses parted ways in 1996 after releasing two albums.
Ian Brown has since pursued a successful solo career and, whilst Squire has moved into art, Mani plays in Primal Scream.
