Beck’s Art Label Celebrates 25 Years
Beck’s is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Art Label with Beck’s Art Crawl, a special series of events throughout April.
Beck’s Art Crawl, the project to give artists the platform to display specially commissioned artwork on its labels, will be celebrated from 11th-28th April across London.
The event will showcase exhibitions of eight of the most iconic Art Labels by artists Tracey Emin, Jeff Koons, Bruce Mclean, Richard Long, Tim Head, Tony Oursler, Tim Noble & Sue Webster and Roderick Buchanan.
The works, as well as a recorded interview with each artist, will be displayed in the following east London pubs: Star of Bethnal Green, Benny’s Bar, Corner Shop, The Griffin, Owl & Pussycat, The Old Blue Last, Juno and The Ten Bells.
Beck’s is offering the chance to win limited edition prints of the labels and free bottles of Beck’s. By “checking in” on Facebook at any of the locations, the prizes can be won instantly.
In conjunction with the event, Beck’s is hosting Art Crawl Live, two events on 16th April in which artists create their own Art Labels to win prizes.
Art students are invited to design and submit their own Beck’s Art Label on Facebook. Six winners will be chosen and their work will be displayed during Art Crawl Live, a unique event on London’s Great Eastern Street hosted by art collective End Of The Line.
The second event, Art Label Shoot Experience, involves 100 pre-registered members of the public being given the chance to photograph London’s streets to create their own label, with the winning entry receiving a print of their wining image and a print of one of the eight artist labels.
