Interpol And David Lynch Collaborate
Interpol are to collaborate with film director David Lynch for their performance tonight (15th April) at Coachella Festival.
The work, which will be called ‘Interpol Under Surveillance’ has been created by Interpol, Lynch and a host of other creatives.
According to the band’s record label: “The performance explores the deepening layers of covert surveillance, morphing data acquisition into visual beauty and questioning the fine line between the viewer and the voyeur.”
The performance will also feature the premiere of Lynch’s animation ‘I Touch a Red Button Man’, for the Interpol song ‘Lights’.
The set will be streamed online on Coachella’s You Tube channel (youtube.com/coachella) live at 3.25am British time.
