The problem with a lot of people making evermore twisted, ambient electronic these days is that there’s very little  depth to it; amongst all the bedroom wizardry and impressively eclectic influence is still, fundamentally, a lone man and a laptop. Whether it’s the fact that Seekae are a band not a man or whether they’re just a bit better, we’re not sure, but ‘+Dome’ glitches and crackles warmly with a far more human heart than most. Opener ‘Go’ is almost Radiohead-esque in its downbeat drama, whilst ‘Reset Head’ is a lesson in minimal restraint. Plus points all round then.
