Ah there’s nothing like a nice bit of indulgence and excess. Most bands would be happy with just the one drummer, but 2?
Brooklyn’s White Rabbits certainly aren’t cutting any corners but that’s by no means a bad thing. There’s enough thumping here to send the heart into severe palpitations inducing a near-fatal heart attack, and with all the dancing pianos, pounding basslines and zigzagging harmonies its clear these Rabbits don’t run on Duracell alone. They’re more super-charged with the debris from a collision of Cold War Kids running head on into the Coral and finding themselves surrounded by all kinds of Kookiness. It’s just a shame that by the end of ‘Fort Nightly’, these White Rabbits luck might be running out.
