This Sacramento foursome’s punishing aural assaults just got longer. Whoopee. The second album proper from hardcore heroes Trash Talk features more (and much lengthier than before) example of their famously brutal compositions as Lee Spielman growls and hollers his way through ten epic tracks of pummelled, super-speed rhythms and ferocious attack riffs. The musicianship here is unparalleled and to most grannies downright un-listenable, but the rest of us get to witness a band boldly experimenting with their sound and subsequently set to break through to a whole new scene of listeners Gallows style once ‘Eyes & Nine’ hits the internet. An added bonus are appearances from Greg Hetson (Bad Religion) and Matt Caughthran (The Bronx) who propel this thrash band’s superb most recent offering to must hear status.
