Hydro Connect festival has confirmed loads more bands to its bill that already boasts Kasabian, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand.
The event that takes place from August 29th-31st also has a special King Tuts Wah Wah Hut’s unsigned band initiative, promoting the best in new Scottish acts like We Were Promised Jetpacks, Broken Records and Lou Hickey. Black Lips, Joan as Police Woman and Stephen Malkmus will also be playing the event that is set in the grounds of an 18th Century castle in the Scottish Highlands as well as Sigur Ros, Paulo Nutini, Manic Street Preachers, Goldfrapp, Young Knives, Conor Oberst & The Magic Valley Band, The Gutter Twins, Duffy, Nick Cave's Grinderman, Amy MacDonald, Elbow, The Gossip, Spiritualized, Howling Bells, Mercury Rev, The Coral, Roots, The Breeders, Levellers, Camera Obscura, Sia and plenty more.
