The Brute Chorus will release their second single ‘Grow Fins’ on July 14th.

‘Grow Fins’ is the follow up to the band’s much lauded debut single ‘Chateau’, released on Hawley Arms’ label Bumpman Originals in February this year. This ramshackle stomper of a single was recorded and self-produced at Flood’s bedroom studio in West London, using some of their homemade ‘rockenspiel’ (made from a small wooden glockenspiel bought on Ebay) and the drum parts being performed solely on drum cases.

Following their support slot with Vincent Vincent and The Villains in May and last weekend's Glastonbury slot, the blues-folk quartet will perform a clutch of festivals this summer, including Secret Garden Party and Belladrum.

July:

5          De La Warr Pavillion (with The Puppini Sisters, Bexhill-on-Sea)

14        *Single Launch Party* Wilmington Arms, London

27         Secret Garden Party, Cambridge

August:

1        Standon Calling, Hertfordshire

2        Kendal Calling, Cumbria

4        Brickyard, Carlisle

5        King Tuts, Glasgow

8        Belladrum Festival, Nr Inverness

10      Fordham Festival, Fordham
