Babyshambles have been banned from playing Moonfest Festival, due to take place on August 29th-31st by the Wiltshire Police; for they believe Pete Doherty and co. would encourage violence at the event.
Police presented their report to North Wiltshire Magistrates on August 17th, who ordered festival organisers to cancel any appearances from Pete and his band. This is believed to be the first act of its kind to stop a performance.
