Franz Ferdinand brought the curtain down on the Hydro Connect Festival last night (31^st August) at Inveraray Castle, Scotland, Scotland.

 

The band, making their only Scottish festival appearance of the summer, delivered a hits-filled set and previewed five new songs from their upcoming 3^rd album. They then closed the festival with a raucous rendition of ‘This Fire’.

The new album, due in January, has been described by frontman Alex Kapranos as having a “disco dance tempo".
