Scots indie-rockers Franz Ferdinand are the latest band to be added to an already big named line up set to perform at the New York leg of a massive party taking place in 18 cities worldwide this Saturday (October 11).
They will join N.E.R.D, MIA, Chaka Khan and Hot Chip at the event which takes place at Pier 3 on the Brooklyn waterfront.
Other cities set to P-A-R-T-Y are Tokyo, Beijing, Dubai, Athens, Amsterdam, Milan, Zurich, Munich, Paris, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Oslo, Helsinki, London and Sao Paulo. They'll each host events on the date, with the finale of the celebrations taking place in New York.
The event entitled ’Rock and Roll Circus’ will include all the fun of the fair from fire-eaters to trapeze artists.
