The charity War Child have announced the line up of their album release ‘Heroes’.
The covers record, which sees classic artists pick a modern band to cover their own songs features Beck, TV On The Radio, Hot Chip and Elbow covering the likes of Joy Division, David Bowie and The Clash. The album aims to raise money and awareness for children involved in conflict. Elbow’s Guy Garvey explained why he got involved, “War Child does exactly what it says on the tin. These kids shouldn't be in such circumstances in the first place, but they are, so thank god someone's doing something about it.”
