Hello! As the decade draws to a close, instead of giving ourselves a massive pat on the back (it's never been our style) The Fly is casting a wart-magnifying eyeglass over the past ten years' worth of issues. Under the banner of The Fly's Noughtie Streak, we're flagging up international events and music-centric happenings of note. What else? Ah yes, we also give you a big list of people who died that year too. How depressing.
Right now in The Fly's Noughtie Streak, it's 2004. The year of Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, Razorlight, and, if you're The Fly, The Open and Hundred Reasons; because you just can't be right all the time. A concept the NME have immense difficulty with, non? OUCH! THAT WAS A GOOD ONE! HIGH FIVE!
So, to engage yourself in this fairly low-key but none-the-less essential going on, make sure you check back regularly at the Features page. In the mean time, you can click any of the links below for a direct journey to the year of your choice.
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004.
