Supergrass Announce Split

Supergrass have announced their decision to split up. The Oxford four-piece, who released six studio albums in a career spanning over 17 years, have announced details of four farewell shows in June.

They will play Glasgow Barrowlands, Manchester Academy, Brixton Academy before playing their final ever show at La Cigalle in Paris on Friday 11th June.

Supergrass formed in 1993, their debut ‘I Should Coco’ becoming a pivotal part of Britpop, before following it up with full studio albums ‘In It For The Money’, ‘Supergrass’, ‘Life On Other Planets’, ‘Road To Rouen’ and ‘Diamond Hoo Ha Men’.

The band said: “Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years. We still love each other but, cliché notwithstanding, musical differences have led to us moving on and of course we all wish each other well in the future”

11 Paris La Cigalle
