Franz Ferdinand have been talking to BBC 6Music about their upcoming new record.
The band - who have recently been enlisted to produce Girls Aloud's new album - are currently slogging away on a follow up to 2005's 'You Could Have It So Much Better'.
Frontman Alex Kapranos told the digital radio station: "We’ve been writing and we’re just recording at the moment; we’re about a third of the way through".
