Well, this is a scrappy do and a half. Anyone showing up at this here Artrocker show on the strength of last year's amazing near-breakthrough single 'Factfinding''ll be expecting Leeds lads O Fracas to be the unexpectedly much-needed missing link between Franz Ferdinand and the Housemartins. What we find instead is a cardigan-hearted combo chugging coyly through a set high on oblique lyrical drama and a muted take on the bullet-bouncing thwackings of near-neighbours the Arctic Monkeys. Unseating, perhaps, but never uninspired; a little less tentativeness, and you wouldn't rule out a struggle-free rise.
